Putty, wait, what?
You will see a lot of Putty in this book. The reason for this is simple, we have many clients and in the basic sample we do not want to favor a specific client implementation. We did that in the past with JavaScript, and then all our users thought that we were all about websockets. We do not want to make that mistake again. XSockets IS NOT a framework targeting browsers/websockets only.
So, even though Putty is cool we do not want you to use putty in your daily business ;). We use it to provide a better understanding of the communication. Hopefully you will also understand the modular concept and that you can connect anything with TCP/IP to XSockets.
